What are Team Profiles?

A team profile is a space where each employee shares simple yet interesting facts about themselves, such as their favourite food, past work experience, and hobbies. This allows people to make connections through their interests, allowing for a positive work environment.

Why does your company need Team Profiles?

Faster connections

Within only a couple of seconds, employees can find out quick, personal facts about one another, which can initiate positive connections. People can relate to one another through something as simple as their pets.

Showcase individual strength

When working as a team, it can be useful to understand your colleagues' strengths. Team profiles can be used to share an individual's personal strengths, allowing the right people to be assigned the right tasks.

Companies as communities

An increased sense of community and belonging through shared interests helps to encourage company engagement, retention, productivity, and overall organisational performance.

What elements should Team Profiles include?

Identifiable information

Include easy ways to distinguish one employee from another, such as name, job title, and a photo of the individual. Advanced Cards is a great way to display this information in a visually engaging way.

Q&As

Ask each team member to provide concise but meaningful answers about themselves on various subjects, such as travel, favourite food, and hobbies. Using Advanced Expands for this allows your team to pick which of the categories they want to learn about, without being overwhelmed by all the information at once.

Fun facts

Allow each team member to share something about themselves that doesn’t have to belong in any particular category, and make sure this information can’t be missed by highlighting it with a colourful Background macro.
