What is a one-pager?

A one-pager is a single, easy-to-read document that packs all the essential details about your business, product, or project into just one page. It's designed so anyone (whether they're a prospect, stakeholder, or partner) can get the gist in minutes, without wading through lengthy reports or presentations. They can be tailored for pitching new clients, summarising projects at a glance, or sharing updates with investors. Whatever the purpose, the best one-pagers help make a strong first impression and spark interest.

Why does your company need a one-pager?

A one-pager gives your company a simple, engaging way to present the most important details about your offering, removing all the waffle and leaving what matters. This clarity brings teams, prospects, and stakeholders up to speed without needing to dig through thick brochures or lengthy emails to get the main points.

Using a standard one-pager template means everyone in your company can communicate in the same style, with consistent details and branding. It’s a great way to make sure your team, from marketing to sales, is delivering a unified message and representing your business professionally to anyone who reads it.

A one-pager is a real time-saver for everyone involved. Instead of spending ages explaining your product or service repeatedly, you have all the key info laid out clearly in one spot. This means your team can quickly share essential details without needing to prepare lengthy presentations or shuffle through multiple documents.

What elements should a one-pager include?

A one-pager should be concise and easy to follow at a glance, taking up just one page (hence the name).
Here are some elements you should consider with screenshots from our example:

Top features and capabilities

A great one-pager highlights your product or service's top features and capabilities, showcasing what makes your offering special and what customers can expect in terms of functionality or benefits. Keeping it clear and concise helps readers quickly grasp the essentials without getting lost in technical details.

Quick answers

Your one-pager should answer the key questions your audience might have, like “Who is this for?” and “What are the main benefits?”. By giving direct answers, you save your reader time and make it obvious why your product or service is the right choice for their needs.

Call to action (CTA)

Finally, don’t forget to include clear and friendly CTAs. This tells your reader exactly what to do next, whether it’s getting in touch, signing up for a trial, or visiting your website for more info. Use buttons to make your CTAs easy to spot and inviting, helping turn interest into real engagement or sales.
