Keep a record of your Trello checklists or share the information with your team. Either way, Board Export for Trello makes it easy!

Trello has a habit of becoming very busy, very quickly. Trello's greatest asset, the ease of adding tasks to your board, can also be a problem if left unchecked. As a result, before you know it, you have 100+ cards all vying for your attention, or even worse, being left to gather dust in your “to do” or “backlog” list.
One solution is to add some items as checklists within cards, rather than as cards themselves. This works particularly well for subtasks or just smaller tasks that might not need a whole card.
Trello users love checklists to keep their tasks organised. So much so that Trello recently improved this feature even further by releasing Advanced Checklists (for Trello Business Class/Enterprise users). This allows users to assign due dates and team members to checklist items. Making it much easier to keep track of each checklist item to ensure nothing gets overlooked.
If you're new to checklists or advanced checklists, these links will help explain more:

Export Trello boards, cards, and now Checklists!

While checklists are very effective in Trello, there are times when users want to export checklist information to other formats. Currently, there is no way to do this within Trello itself. That’s why we have extended the capability of our Board Export Power-Up to support the export of Checklists, and Advanced Checklist features (due dates and members) to the following formats:
  • Microsoft Excel (.xlsx)
  • Comma Separated Values (.csv)
  • Portable Document Format (.pdf)
Here are a few occasions when you might want to do this:
  • To keep a record of checklist items,
  • For further data analysis or reporting,
  • Sharing board/card/checklist information with colleagues, perhaps in a presentation,
  • Keeping a record of who worked on what cards/checklists,
  • Copying and pasting information from Trello to somewhere else,
  • And many more!
