Once you've installed Mosaic, follow these steps:

Create a new page or live doc in Confluence, then click All templates from the bottom menu.
Click on the templates search bar and type ‘Mosaic’.

What elements should user profiles include?

Title banner

Introduce the page - for example: ‘Meet the bright minds behind the Dev work at ACME Inc!’ Optionally, show your team’s personality and add a picture or photo.

Our template uses a Background macro as a banner, but you could also use an Interactive Banner if you’d like to add something extra.

Personal details

Make sure you include the name, job title, and department in each user profile. You may also want to add contact details, the relevant time zone, and a short bio for each.

Profile photo

A photo has many benefits, including building connections within your team.

Using Advanced Cards, you can combine profile photos with employee details, saving space and making the user profiles more engaging.

Accolades

You can use this space to showcase any wins for your team, such as top employees, improvements, or certifications.

(Optional) Call to action

Whether you want your user profiles page to stand alone as it is, or provide a useful call to action to a vacancies page, probably depends on whether your page is purely for your team to get to know each other, or if it could serve as a window into the team for outsiders as well. In which case, outsiders may want to join your team after seeing your great profiles!
